Sporting events at Clifton Science and Technology Campus
At Clifton Science and Technology Campus, you will find the Lee Westwood Sports Centre, named after the former world number one golfer and honorary graduate of Nottingham Trent University. The centre has extensive indoor and outdoor recreation, sporting and fitness facilities and athlete support areas. As the home of the universities Sports Science department, it includes elite sports facilities and is the perfect venue for triumphant sporting events.

Sporting events at Nottingham City Campus
Nottingham City Campus boasts a state-of-the-art sports centre, opened in 2013 by Olympics legacy ambassador Lord Sebastian Coe. With a sports hall built to Sport England standards, a 100-station fitness suite, dance studio and a 10m climbing wall Nottingham City Campus is perfect for your sporting events.

Sporting events at Brackenhurst Campus
Brackenhurst Campus, our rural campus offers an Equestrian Centre with both indoor and outdoor arenas. It has an event calendar that includes unaffiliated and affiliated dressage competitions and unaffiliated show jumping held in the Mary King Arena, named after and relaunched by the Olympian Mary King in 2012.
The centre is a British Horse Society (BHS) approved training and livery establishment and holds a full local authority riding school licence.
Flexible sporting facilities
The flexibility of our sports facilities lends itself to:
- Residential training camps and sporting events
- Sports tournaments and competitions
NTU Sports works in collaboration with Nottingham’s City and County Councils, along with other organisations within Nottingham, to bid for international sporting events that can be brought to the city.
Our extensive sports facilities accommodate both competitive and recreational sports at a local, regional and national level. With a range of both specialist and multi-purpose spaces, together with elevated spectator areas, electronic scoring capability and flexible changing areas, we can ensure every competitor receives the best possible experience. All sporting events have a dedicated team of sports professionals working alongside them to assist in the preparation and the onsite logistics, so you can be confident that you have a strong support team at your fingertips.
