Large capacity venue
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) have transformed Wesleyan Chapel on 38 Shakespeare Street, originally constructed in 1854, to create a unique venue offering both contemporary and original event spaces.
University Hall features a stunning main hall, seating up to 500 in original pews, with a stage and lectern. This space is perfect for theatre productions, musical events, ceremonies, conference talks and intimate award ceremonies.
New facilities
NTU have extended the venue to include dance and music studios, a new dining facility and a green living wall, linking to the main building through a glass vestibule.
This new conference and events centre, in the heart of Nottingham, will be available during evenings, weekends and out of term time, lending itself perfectly to large conferences and dining experiences.
Dining Hall
The new luxury dining facilities seats 18 for a dinner and up to 54 delegates for a drinks reception. Contemporary furnishing, casual seating and balcony access makes it the perfect event space for a dinner or a drinks reception with a small team.
Location
University Hall is situated adjacent to our Arkwright and Newton buildings at Nottingham City Campus, allowing easy access to our extensive range of facilities.
